About Frostbite Base Assault
Frostbite Base Assault takes the run-and-gun fight to a frozen mountain pass where skeleton troopers guard an icy fortress. Everything about this campaign is harder. The ground is slick with ice, so your soldier speeds up and slows down gradually instead of stopping on a dime, which makes dodging bullets and lining up jumps over the frozen pits a real skill. Enemy fire comes faster, patrols are packed more densely, and supply drops are rarer, so a spread gun or machine gun feels like treasure and losing it to a single hit really hurts. Turrets bristle from crates of supplies, snipers lie in wait on snowy ledges, and every stage ends with a frost-covered tower bristling with cannons around a glowing core that sprays fans of shots. Plan your slides, use crouching to let bullets pass overhead, and drop through ledges to change your angle of attack. Twelve stages stand between you and the summit, each a little longer than the last. Clear them with few losses for three-star ratings, and see whether you can master the ice.
How to play
Arrow keys or A/D to run, up/down to aim, Space to jump, hold J or click to fire; down + jump drops through ledges. The ice makes you slide, so start and stop early. On touch screens use the stick and the jump button; firing is automatic.
