Joker Spades: Big Trump Night adds the two jokers to the classic partnership game and turns up the heat on a charcoal felt lit in gold. The two of hearts and the two of clubs leave the deck, and the Big Joker and Little Joker join the spade suit as the two highest trumps, ranked above the ace of spades. That changes everything you know about bidding: a joker is a guaranteed trick, a lone ace of spades is no longer safe, and a void in a side suit becomes even more dangerous for the opponents. The rest is pure Spades. Bid your tricks with your partner across the table, follow suit when you can, wait for spades to be broken before leading them, and make your combined contract for ten points a trick plus a point per bag, while ten bags cost a hundred. Nil bids are worth a hundred either way. The match is a sprint to 300, so one big round can decide it. The default opponents play Hard, counting trumps and bags, so plan your jokers carefully. Hints, a suggested bid and undo are always there, and online tables play the same joker rules.
How to play
Bid your tricks (Nil = none). Big Joker > Little Joker > A♠ … all spades are trump. Follow suit if you can; spades can't be led until broken. Click a card to play (tap twice or drag up on phones). First team to 300 wins. H = hint, U = undo.
