About Mahjong Solitaire Classic
Mahjong Solitaire Classic lays out real-looking ivory mahjong tiles in three dimensions on a warm lacquered table, and asks you to clear the whole stack two at a time. Tap two identical tiles to remove them, as long as each one is free: nothing may rest on top of it, and its left or right side must be open. Flowers pair with any flower and seasons with any season, just like the classic rules. Eighteen hand-picked boards climb from a gentle little cross to the legendary 144-tile Turtle, passing a butterfly, a flower, a fortress, a castle, an arena and a pagoda along the way. Every board is generated by playing it backwards, so each one is guaranteed to have a solution. Thick tiles cast soft shadows, playable tiles stay bright while blocked ones dim, and matched pairs leap together and burst into sparkles. Stuck? Hint shows a pair, Undo takes back a move, and a reshuffle re-deals the remaining tiles into a solvable position. Clear a board without reshuffling and under par time for three stars, and come back to beat your best score with longer combos. The 3D board refits itself on phones, tablets and desktops in any orientation.
How to play
Tap two matching free tiles to remove them. A tile is free when nothing lies on it and its left or right side is open. Flowers match any flower, seasons any season. Hint (H) shows a pair, Shuffle (S) re-deals the rest, Undo (Z) takes a move back. Clear the board to win.
