About Lava Rising Tower
Lava Rising Tower is an endless climbing obby where the floor is very literally lava, and it is coming up after you. A crash-test dummy stands on a little island above a glowing magma sea, and a staircase of brightly coloured plastic blocks spirals up into the smoky red sky. As soon as you take your first step the lava starts to rise, slowly at first and faster the higher you get, so standing still is never an option. The tower is generated as you climb, piece by piece, and it gets meaner with height: early on you hop between chunky blocks and ride springs, later you meet lifts that bob up and down, kill bricks, crumbling bricks, sweeping bars, flickering tiles, timed spikes, saws and shoving blocks. Every few sections a checkpoint island lets you respawn after a fall, but only while it is still above the lava, and touching the lava ends the run. Your score is the height you reach in metres, with your personal best shown right under the meter, and coins on the route reward the bold lines. The red glow at the bottom of the screen warns you when the lava is getting close. It plays with keys on desktop and a stick plus jump button on phones.
How to play
Run with WASD / arrows or the stick, jump with Space or ▲, drag to look. Climb as high as you can before the rising lava catches you.
